Sweet Nothings is a conversation app for couples, made in Toronto, Canada. This page explains exactly what the app keeps and why. Last updated October 2026.

What you say stays in the room.

The app shows questions. It never records, stores or sends your answers or conversations, ever.

On your iPhone

Your time together, the questions you've already answered and your settings are saved on your iPhone so the app can show your history and keep questions fresh.

If you choose to sign in

Signing in with Apple is optional. If you do, we back up your time together, which questions you've already answered and your settings, so you can continue on another iPhone. Backups are stored with Cloudflare. We store a scrambled ID instead of your name or email address.

Delete anytime

In the app, go to Settings › Account › Delete account. Your account and backup are deleted for good right away. What's on your iPhone stays until you delete the app.

Purchases

Decks are bought through Apple. We never see your payment details or Apple ID.

Focus

If you allow it, the app checks whether a Focus is on when a session starts. iOS only tells the app on or off. Nothing is sent anywhere.

No tracking

No ads, no analytics, no third-party trackers, and nothing is sold or shared.

Adults only content

The Intimate deck is for people 18 and older. The app asks before it opens.
